Big pinch climbing holds are just plain fun. Like jugs they can be quite versitile also. Some pinches are slopey, some flat, and some are incut making them easier to grip. A pinch can be quite difficult to use depending on how the route is set, but thats what makes them fun! There's just something about clamping down and pulling on a hold that at first glance looks impossible. Another nice thing about pinches is they can make for a moderate handhold and at the same time a difficult foothold.
